1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to the FAZ 3D Lab website and to Asset Nodes software, trial builds, installers, updates, documentation and related support made available by FAZ 3D Lab. By downloading, installing, accessing or using an Asset Nodes product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the product.
2. Software license
Unless a separate marketplace, store or written license says otherwise, FAZ 3D Lab grants the licensed user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the applicable Asset Nodes product for its intended purpose. The software is licensed, not sold. Ownership of the software, branding, documentation and original product content remains with FAZ 3D Lab or its licensors.
3. Trial use
A trial build may be limited by time, features, machine activation, account registration or other technical controls. A trial is provided only for evaluation. Attempting to bypass, reset, disable or manipulate trial limitations or activation controls is not permitted, except where applicable law expressly allows otherwise.
4. Third-party assets and content
Asset Nodes is an organization and workflow tool. It does not grant ownership, licenses or usage rights to any third-party models, materials, textures, images, archives, scenes, blueprints, levels or other content.
You are solely responsible for making sure that every third-party asset you import, collect, organize, convert, store, copy, publish, export or use through Asset Nodes was obtained legally and is used in accordance with the applicable creator, marketplace, subscription service, website or license terms.
FAZ 3D Lab does not grant, verify or extend rights in third-party content. Responsibility for obtaining and complying with the necessary third-party rights rests with the user. Any allocation or limitation of liability under these terms remains subject to rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
5. Paid subscriptions and restricted content
If an asset originates from a paid subscription, membership, marketplace or service with restrictions on downloading, sharing, archiving, redistribution, conversion or continued use after a subscription ends, you must follow those restrictions. Asset Nodes does not override or replace the terms of the service from which the content was obtained. Using Asset Nodes to collect or retain content does not extend any third-party license.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use Asset Nodes to knowingly facilitate copyright infringement, unauthorized redistribution, credential theft, circumvention of access controls, unlawful content distribution or other illegal activity. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the Asset Nodes software itself except where an applicable license expressly permits it.
7. Compatibility and third-party software
Asset Nodes depends on third-party applications and, in some editions, renderer or platform components such as Autodesk 3ds Max, SketchUp, Unreal Engine, V-Ray or Corona. Those products are owned and supported by their respective vendors. FAZ 3D Lab does not guarantee continued compatibility with every future version, plugin, renderer, operating system or vendor change. Always check the product page for current supported versions before installation.
8. Installation, backups and user data
You are responsible for maintaining backups of projects, libraries, source assets and important data. Before installing updates, moving a library, converting content or changing a production workflow, create appropriate backups. Although FAZ 3D Lab aims to make Asset Nodes safe and reliable, no software can guarantee that data loss, file corruption, incompatibility or workflow interruption will never occur.
9. Updates and changes
FAZ 3D Lab may release bug fixes, compatibility updates, security changes, feature updates or revised installers. Features, supported versions, trial rules and service integrations may change over time. Where practical, material changes will be reflected on the website, product documentation or release information.
10. Support
Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis through the channels listed on the website. Support does not include responsibility for third-party software, third-party assets, custom production pipelines or content obtained from external marketplaces. When contacting support, do not send passwords, license secrets or confidential client data.
11. Purchases, marketplaces and refunds
Purchases may be processed by third-party marketplaces or payment providers, including platforms such as Fab or Lemon Squeezy. Their checkout, tax, billing, refund and payment terms may also apply. Where a marketplace controls the transaction, its policies take precedence for payment and refund handling to the extent required by that platform and applicable law.
12. Intellectual property
FAZ 3D Lab, Asset Nodes, associated logos, interface designs, documentation and original software components are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, trademarks, applications and asset content remain the property of their respective owners. References to third-party products indicate compatibility or workflow context and do not imply ownership or endorsement unless expressly stated.
13. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website, trial builds and software are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without guarantees that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every workflow. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FAZ 3D Lab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost production time, lost data, loss of goodwill or claims arising from third-party content. Any limitation in these terms is subject to mandatory consumer-protection and other rights that cannot legally be limited.
15. Suspension or termination
FAZ 3D Lab may suspend access to licensing or support services where there is evidence of fraud, unlawful use, abuse of activation systems or material breach of these terms, subject to applicable law and any marketplace obligations.
16. Beta, trial and early-access builds
Some Asset Nodes releases may be identified as trial, beta, preview, developer-test or early-access builds. These versions are provided for evaluation and feedback and may contain defects, incomplete features, compatibility limitations or behavior that changes before a final release. Users are encouraged to report reproducible issues to FAZ 3D Lab Support. FAZ 3D Lab will make reasonable efforts to investigate supported-product issues but does not promise that every issue can be fixed immediately or that every third-party configuration can be supported.
17. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, waive or reduce rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection, e-commerce, data-protection or other mandatory law. Where a mandatory rule conflicts with these terms, that mandatory rule applies to the extent of the conflict.
18. Governing law and sales platforms
These terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to a customer in another jurisdiction. If a product is purchased through Fab, Lemon Squeezy or another marketplace or merchant of record, the seller-of-record, checkout and dispute information shown by that platform also applies to the transaction.
19. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as products, licensing systems, marketplaces or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this website with an updated date.
